Privacy

A small site with a straightforward privacy posture.

Homebuying WTF does not currently offer accounts, comments, forms, or a newsletter. It uses basic audience measurement to understand whether the publication is useful and how readers find it.

Standard hosting data

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps for security, reliability, and delivery.

Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage, such as visits, popular pages, approximate geography, referring sources, and browser or device type. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies, including identifiers that distinguish a browser and its sessions. Homebuying WTF does not send names, email addresses, loan information, or other information submitted by readers to Google Analytics.

Google describes its default Analytics collection in its data collection documentation and explains its handling of information in the Google Privacy Policy. Visitors can limit this measurement through browser privacy controls, cookie blocking, or Google’s Analytics opt-out tools.

No advertising profiles

Homebuying WTF does not currently run advertising, remarketing, or affiliate tracking through the site. Analytics is being used to measure readership, not to build a homebuyer lead list. This notice will be updated before the site introduces materially different tracking or commercial uses.

If you email us

If you contact hello@homebuying.wtf, the information you choose to send will be used to read and respond to your message, investigate a correction, or improve the publication. Do not send sensitive personal or financial documents.

External sites

Articles link to third-party sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which Homebuying WTF does not control.
